These are the results of the mock draft that the Review participated in on 6/20/09. We picked from Draft Spot 4 as one of the top tier RBs of 2008 should still be available with our pick in a standard Yahoo! League draft. The draft moves in a serpentine fashion picking fourth in odd rounds and ninth in the evens. The draft pick breakdown is as follows:
1. Matt Forte (Chi - RB)
2. Brandon Jacobs (NYG - RB)
3. Tony Romo (Dal - QB)
4. Tony Gonzalez (Atl - TE)
5. Vincent Jackson (SD - WR)
6. Bernard Berrian (Min - WR)
7. LenDale White (Ten - RB)
8. Philadelphia (Phi - DEF)
9. Donald Driver (GB - WR)
10. Lance Moore (NO - WR)
11. David Garrard (Jac - QB)
12. Mark Bradley (KC - WR)
13. Tim Hightower (Ari - RB)
14. Darrius Heyward-Bey (Oak - WR)
15. Jason Elam (Atl - K)
We believe in the course of the draft got good value on the majority of the picks, with exception of Gonzalez and Berrian. In those two cases, we felt we needed to reach one half to one full round in order to score those players we would not normally get at Round 4, Pick 4 or Round 6, Pick 4. In the later rounds, we were able select prospects with the picks in the 13th and 14th rounds.

Yahoo! Big D Fantasy FB League Live Draft - 6/16/09
The Big D League held their Football Live Draft on Yahoo! on 6/16/09 opening the flood of Fantasy Football drafts that this blogger will be involved and to commish in up until the start of the NFL regular season. This draft involved 21 rounds and 7 offensive players (QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, WR/TE, TE), 6 defensive players (DL, 2 LBs, 2 DBs, and open D player), one Kicker, and 7 bench position were to be full in the given draft. The league will contain twelve teams split evenly between three divisions aptly named The 3-4, The 4-3, and The 46. My squad, now known as Blitz'd, will be competing in the 3-4 division. The waiver period is set at one day.
The results of this draft for Blitz'd are as follows:
| 1. | (12) | Clinton Portis | RB |
| 2. | (13) | Brandon Jacobs | RB |
| 3. | (36) | Aaron Rodgers | QB |
| 4. | (37) | Tony Gonzalez | TE |
| 5. | (60) | Bernard Berrian | WR |
| 6. | (61) | Gibril Wilson | S |
| 7. | (84) | Donnie Avery | WR |
| 8. | (85) | Larry Johnson | RB |
| 9. | (108) | Jerricho Cotchery | WR |
| 10. | (109) | Terrell Suggs | DE |
| 11. | (132) | James Farrior | LB |
| 12. | (133) | Michael Crabtree | WR |
| 13. | (156) | Jonathan Vilma | LB |
| 14. | (157) | Bob Sanders | S |
| 15. | (180) | David Garrard | QB |
| 16. | (181) | Shawne Merriman | LB |
| 17. | (204) | Mark Bradley | WR |
| 18. | (205) | Quintin Mikell | S |
| 19. | (228) | Ray Rice | RB |
| 20. | (229) | Tony Scheffler | TE |
| 21. | (252) | Matt Bryant | K |
Once the waiver period had been cleared, Denver TE Tony Scheffler was cut to be replaced by Seattle CB/KR/PR Josh Wilson, who scored the most fan points of any Defensive players this given format.
Over the next few weeks I will be publishing Top 25 rankings for offensive and defensive player as determined by the Fantasy Sports Review's personal statistical analysis. Please be on the lookout for these soon.
